Elf Studio Conditioning Lip Balms w/ SPF 15

So ELF has truly kicked things up a notch. Now I might be late to the new products from ELF but c'mon I just had a kid not even 5 months and just now getting back to the makeup world that I once lived in!!
Anywho.. So these conditioning lip balms, what can I say.. its a hate and love relationship! They have many pros and sad a few cons..
PROS:
~great colors
~nice sheer hint of color
~ awesome amount of product ( 26 oz/ 7.5g)
~nice smooth feeling
~not sticky
~chic packaging (something I will get into more later!)
~ incredible price!
~decent smell

CONS:
~tough to open/close packaging
~bulky packaging
~application

So as you can see the pros out weight the cons..now on the review the colors that I have!

Mellow Melon
just by looking at this color makes me think of  yummy watermelon bubblicious gum!
Its a nice salmony pink, with a nice tint of color.. now this picture above is with no flash what so ever...while the picture below is with flash..
Swatches..

Romantic Rouge
Now when I look at this conditioning lip balm the first thing that pops into my head is a cherry Popsicle.
and this was also token without flash
Romantic Rouge is nice subtle red shade on the lips, although it might seem scary in the pot and some of you ladys might think that its too risqué I can assure you that all really get  get is a light tint of color. Of course one can build the intensity of the color but this color would just look perfectly fine on its own, or if you wanted to turn things up a notch you could always apply this over your choice of red lipstick.
Now for the swatches.....

Moving on....

Bombshell Brown
hmmmm what can I say about this gorgeous shade... again with the food comparison, lol, its reminds me of melted chocolate! Though it would be nice for elf to have thought of making these lip balms smell like something other than sunscreen/ shea butter... I cant help but to think that this is a little pot of melted milk chocolate..
Now this shade is perfect for a nude lip. I personally like to layer this lips balm with one of my favorite nude lipsticks and the nice thing is that it doesnt completely wash me out :) and now for the swatches.......

So in conclusion i personally would give this product a 4.5 out of 5.
Would I repurchase...yes
Would I recommend to friends/family.... meh yes if they didnt mind about the issues with the packaging
Where can you get it..... eyeslipsface.com  or if your lucky, your local target!
Price... 3.00

Anyways  I hope that you all have found this review helpful!
